Mission: ACCOMPLISHED!

Thanks to everyone (all 50 + of you) that came to Compadres Rio Grill for our latest Napa Guerilla Gay Bar!

We had a great time out on the deck celebrating the one-year "blogoversary" of The Valley's Other Fruit and enjoying the full rainbow contingent of Peeps that were left over from the Napa Valley Unity League meeting earlier in the evening.

Only one casualty . . . and it was friendly fire! If you did a "dine & dash" after enjoying two margaritas and an order of quesadillas then you owe Ian $ 28.00. Not cool!

faq (frequently asked questions)

"So, what's the address of the Guerilla Gay Bar in Napa"

Actually, that's why the organization exists -- there are no gay bars in Napa County. We "invade" a "straight" establishment and "turn it gay for the day".

"Do I have to be LGBT to come to one of your events?"

ABSOLUTELY NOT! We welcome EVERYONE looking to enjoy a fabulous evening out in the Napa Valley. All we ask is that you treat your fellow troops, the employees of the venue & the property with respect.

"Why is it spelled 'Guerilla' and not 'Guerrilla' or 'Gorilla'?"

First, we're not animals! 'Gorilla' is the spelling for "the largest of living primates". We use "unconventional techniques in the form of ambushes and raids" when making our targets "gay for a day".

So, why do we drop the extra 'R'? Well, the dictionary allows for both spellings and we think it just looks better with one R.
