The Napa Guerilla Gay Bar is a not-for-profit social and philanthropic organization.
There are no “gay” bars in the Napa Valley. Our mission is to turn selected bars, restaurants, pubs and other facilities “gay for a day”. We seek to create safe and entertaining social opportunities for LGBT folks, their friends and their allies. This is done by developing and promoting social activities that build a sense of community and support Napa Valley businesses and organizations.

Hora Feliz at Bistro Sabor
Join the troops from the Napa Guerilla Gay Bar as we invade Hora Feliz (Happy Hour) at Bistro Sabor (1126 First Street in Napa) on Saturday, January 22, 2011. Drop in any time between 3 and 6 pm.
Their happy hour specials (Tuesday through Saturday from 3 to 6 pm) are:
$3.50 draft beers
$5.00 wine specials
$4.00 Quesadillas
Bistro Sabor serves "contemporary expressions of Latin America's favorite street food and snacks" and "offers and eclectic dining . . . including hot-from-the fryer Churros and savory Pupusas, Salmon Ceviche Tostadas, Chorizo Quesadillas, fresh Tropical Fruit Salads and made-to-order Tacos that feature everything from Roasted Vegetables to Seafood to Carnitas."
Thirsty? Bistro Sabor offers 20 Mexican, local and international craft beers along with wines from boutique family-owned Napa wineries as well as Sake.
So, come enjoy a Saturday afternoon with the troops! See you there!
"So, what's the address of the Guerilla Gay Bar in Napa"
Actually, that's why the organization exists -- there are no gay bars in Napa County. We "invade" a "straight" establishment and "turn it gay for the day".
"Do I have to be LGBT to come to one of your events?"
ABSOLUTELY NOT! We welcome EVERYONE looking to enjoy a fabulous evening out in the Napa Valley. All we ask is that you treat your fellow troops, the employees of the venue & the property with respect.
"Why is it spelled 'Guerilla' and not 'Guerrilla' or 'Gorilla'?"
First, we're not animals! 'Gorilla' is the spelling for "the largest of living primates". We use "unconventional techniques in the form of ambushes and raids" when making our targets "gay for a day".
So, why do we drop the extra 'R'? Well, the dictionary allows for both spellings and we think it just looks better with one R.
